While period-appropriate attire is encouraged (think flapper dresses, velvet, tweed vests, suspenders, or a dramatic cloak) we don’t expect everyone to own a full 1920s wardrobe.

The most important thing is to dress up and lean into the mystique. Think vintage glamor with a dark, mysterious edge. Express your style and embrace the theme in your way! Elevated wardrobe or formal wear is acceptable.

Dressing up not only enhances your own experience—it helps bring the entire event to life for everyone. The more immersive we all make it, the more magical the night becomes.

All events take place within licensed bar venues. As such, this event is strictly 21 and over. A physical, valid government-issued ID is required for entry—no exceptions.

By attending Speakeasy in the Shadows, you acknowledge and agree that photography and video will be captured during the event and may be used by Conjured Events and our partners for promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, social media, websites, and future marketing materials.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify our team upon check-in. We'll provide you with a subtle visual marker to let our photographer know to avoid capturing your image. We want everyone to feel comfortable while preserving the magic of the night.

A donation based photo gallery from the entire event will be made accessible to attendees after the event.

There will be a themed photo booth and a tintype photo booth available.

Speakeasy in the Shadows is located at Shim’s Tavern, but not their main bar.

Details on where to arrive along with a secret code will be provided with ticket purchase.

There is no street parking out front or in the side lot. You can park in the nearby casino parking structures or surrounding street parking.

Be sure to read all signage carefully and avoid illegal parking—we are not responsible for any tickets, towing, or violations. Please don’t leave valuables in your car. Plan ahead and arrive early to find parking and enjoy the night stress-free.

Please note that this event is not fully ADA accessible due to the layout of the venue.

The Surreal Soiree (General Admission) includes entry and access to all music, interactive characters, and immersive spaces.

Higher tiers include drink tickets, tarot readings, or other perks.

Add-ons like tintype photos and tarot readings are available for an additional charge.

You can purchase add-ons day-of based on availability. Acceptable forms of payment depend on the vendor providing the service. Cash is always preferred.

We highly recommend purchasing your add-ons in advance because spots are limited.

Speakeasy in the Shadows will be a private bar with limited, themed beverage options.

Shim’s Tavern will be open for regular business hours. The main bar will be serving their regular menu and open to the public. You may purchase drinks at the main bar or in the Speakeasy.

No outside food or beverages allowed in the Speakeasy.

Only some tickets offer a complimentary drink. Please see your ticket for details.

There will be a food truck during most of the event. It will be accessible to attendees of Speakeasy in the Shadow as well as Shim’s Tavern patrons.

No ticket option includes food.

Food must be ordered and purchased during the event only. No other outside food admitted into the Speakeasy.

Speakeasy in the Shadows will have limited dining tables.

All ticket sales are final.
